Robust Rosemary

Rosemary is a robust, sturdy, small bush that is fragrant and has lovely blue or white flowers. This is another ancient herb, known for its aromatic healing qualities...and its tasty, too. The name rosemary means, "dew of the sea." Rosemary is a staple and I use it in my cooking, as a hair tonic, and a enduring medicinal.

Culinary: the twigs of rosemary make a savoury kebab skewer for summer barbecues. I add it to many of my stews, breads/buns, salads and much more.

Cosmetic: rosemary is amazing for hair growth, treating eczema or other sores on your scalp, and a great herb for revitalizing the hair. Rosemary is often used in many skin products.

Medicinal: rosemary stabilizes blood pressure and heart conditions. Is an invaluable tonic for stressed, exhausted folks. Rosemary has antibacterial, anti-cancer, anti-oxidant and offers cognitive support.

Home uses: great insecticide and aids in reducing the mosquitos, too. I plant, basil, marigolds, rosemary, lavender to keep the flying creatures and ants at bay....they all do an amazing job.
